Anyone ever managed to get the broken elevator in the mutant

I haven't...
But I found a way to get the Systalic Motivatron/ator whatever from Rhombus that doesn't involve sneaking or stealing...
I did it when he was in his front room, I think it's kind of cheating but what the heck, you have to have a companion besides DogMeat... anyway, you stand by the front door and tell your buddy to "keep his distance" actually I think I stood just to the side of the door, anyway, eventually you buddy goes through the door to the back room, be ready for it because you have to be quick, run back there before the door closes. I think I save the game once I am back in the room. Anyhow get the thing out of that locker and try waltzing out like nothing happened. Half the time you get kicked out of the Brotherhood completely, the other half of the time he says something like "We will forget this 'incident'" or whatever.. I think it's kind of cheating because
of using save game to get a good result, but hey you get power armor out of it, eh?

Note: I forgot the most important part of this deal, you give the motivator to your companion before you leave the room, otherwise you drop the dang thing when Rhombus catches you leaving the room....
