Installing In Windows 2000

How do i install and play Fallout 1 in Windows 2000? it says fallout isn't compatible with this version of windows

You can't install any game in Windows 2000! Sucks! :'( + :-(

I hate to have to boot into that horribly slow system to play Fallout. That's why I mostly play FO2. Well... uhhhhh... you know... I'd have played through FO first if it could go in Win 2000.
