[FO2] Alright a question

Alright a question

I got a small problem, I'm playin through again and I'm in Vault City. I completed the Gecko Power Plant prob good, and now I'm a citizen. BUT when I go into the vault and talk to Dr. Troy, he doesn't give me the quest for the Jet. Normally I wouldn't ask for help but two things, A.I think it affects the ending((its been awhile)) and B. I really don't wanna start all over again. Is there some requirement I didn't meet or just plum forgot? Any help is appreciated.

No, the doctor doesn't give ytou that quest anymore. I bet the first time you played the game you didn't have the patch installed. He doesn't ask for Jet when you have the patch. you can still solve the Redding quest, though. Just up your science skill and talk to Myron about a cure for Jet. After that go talk to the doc in Vault city and he'll give you the jet antidote.

I believe its a requirement because my game is patched to 1.02 and i recieved the quest when i used the fo2 guide from father tully and got everything up to 300%

Heres how I do it.

Go to doc. Troy,
Say you have medical training,
DONT take the tour. This makes getting the quest imposible.
He should mention that you look new,
(Some chit-chat)
Agree to get jet.

I have done this with v1.02

Alright, I'll try the thing to get the quest done with Myron, but as for the third response, it doesn't give me the option to say I have medical training, I think in order for me to get that option I need to get my Medical up to a certain level. But I'll try the thing with myron, hopefully that'll work. If not I should be able to just come back and do it with my Medical up to a certain level.
