[FO2] Finding Jonny in Modoc

Finding Jonny in Modoc

I've been to the Slags, I've sorted the problem involving Karl, but now I can't find Jonny anywhere. I believe he's in Ghost Farm somewhere but I can't find him. Any sugestions/help would be gratefully received.

Jonny is one of the kids in the Ghost Farm. I have no idea how you get him back to his mother, though.

If you can't see any children in the game, you're running a UK version of the game. Download the Children patch and the US patch.

When you talk to the tanner, Jonny's dog Laddie should join your party.

Talk to the dog, and go to the well. You can find Jonny's B.B. gun near the cave-in, which suggests that Jonny is dead. You can tell the tanner the bad news, or not.

Anyway, in the ghost farm underground cave, go through the exit grid in the northern side, to the place with the underground lake and the water pump. Laddie will run to one of the children there. Talk to the kid.

I got all the way to Gecko before finding out that I had to patch my game to 1.02 (from UK1.01). I've since restarted and got to Redding. I don't have to start again if I put the new patch in. If I do I'm afraid Jonny will remain unfound!

Do you get anything besides some EXP for finding Jonny?

No, you won't have to do that. Your game is already patched to the 1.02 version, the children patch and the US 1.02 patch will simply turn your game into a US version. In other words, it doesn't invalidate your savegames.
