FO2 Gecko (city) is just black flooring?

First time out of the vault
Whenever I go into Gecko, the ground is pure black with nothing but me and my companions showing up. I have to reload a save to get out.
 
Probably a proto error. Whatever mod you use, reinstall it and go to /data/proto/ and make the whole folder read-only.
