Hard Battle

What does everyone think the hardest battle in the game is that they've come across?

Mine was Navaro ground floor, even with top armour and weapons it's still ahrder than Horrigan.

Try fighting Horrigan without the help of the turrets, enclave troopers, or NPCs. That's pretty bad, but I think the Navarro battle might be worse, due to the plasma turrets.

I tend to agree about Navarro, especially if you have a melee typ character. I had wiped out the entire base using sniper types, so I decided to try with my melee character. I got wiped out quickly. You become a huge target for everybody while running around trying to punch everybody out.

Get the presidential pass off of the president by killing him, and in the room with horrigan, walk your way to the terminal in that room, be careful not to initiate combat with frank, just enable the counter insurgency protocol. The turrets will start firing at him.

Yeah, Horrigan without any help is pretty hard. I did it but I had to take tons of jet, buffout and psycho, I used the bozar and a couple of criticals in the eyes with the turbo plasma.

I KNOW THAT! The counter-insurgency option never showed up, it wouldn't even let me choose to insert an ID, just "I better try this somewhere else"

Wat about he guns blazing approach to the enclave headquaters? I did that to navarro and enclave. Well I finished the non guns blazing way first, then came back with guns blazing. Enclave was cool... ESP barracks area wtih 20 guys using gauss rifles... but yeah... navarro was a tad harder I think.

My hardest battle was a random encounter,traveling from the raiders base to Vault City.I encountered a "Morton brother" but
dispatching him and his croanies was easy.But there was also a cave entrance to go in and thats where the fun began.The cave was full of at least 30 to forty guys armed with turbo plasma fifles,Yk2 rifles and gauss rifles with other small arms.I was only wearing a combat jacket and my best gun was a sniper rifle.Lets just say it ws a good thing I saved game before the fighting started.The sad part is I had to ditch all my goodies from the raiders base as I was alone
and at the end of the carnage it was more stuff than I could carry that way supeior to the raiders FALs.(I like collecting everything:P)
I must have died in there about 12 times.Anyone else encounter this??

ME ME ME ME!! i encountered this same cave... (i guess) a whole bunch of guys with real good guns, others had mega fists.. they all had combat armour on..
lol it was sooooo gay though.. cuz these 40 ppl all with plasma rifles and y2k guns or whatever DIDNT ever fire a shot, im thinking maybe they had a very small ammount of ap's? cuz only the guys with mega fists punched

Its not gay if its easy pickings, and I would have to agree with the notion that destroying Navarro is the hardest fight, seeing as I did it with a vindicator M-gun and combat armor.

Fallout heroes or real heroes?
My Fallout hero never did drugs because he was a dog but real hereos tend to be junkies.

I got that cave, and another one in one of my first random encounters with robbers with leather armor, plated boxing gloves, 10mm SMG, combat knives, shotguns and scoped hunting rifles. In a chest was a super sledge. It was easy to take them out, they didn't do anything. It said they had weapons drawn but it looked like they were just standing there. Same with you Mildew?

Heh heh. Next time I play, I'm gonna do something REALLY stupid. I'm gonna cruise around the wastes in my car 'till me and Myron get to a high level (I like playing evil characters, and Myron is SUCH good company if you're evil), THEN when we're high enough (hopefully on Jet), we'll bust into The Enclave GUNS BLAZING!!! Yeah! It'll be awesome! A total MASSACRE! Die Enclave scum, DIE!!!
