FO2 High-Res Patch Question

Hey,

Just a question regarding the highres patch for Fallout 2, will it work with the Unofficial patch (http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/dload.php?action=file&file_id=704), or does is it only compatible with the official 1.02 patch?

Just making sure before I install, seeing as it would be great to have those 800+ bugs fixed when I play in 1080p.

Yep, it's compatible. It uses the same exe as the official US patch.

Nice, just got that set-up. But on the topic (this might belong in another part of the forum) is there any reason the cinematics look completely messed up for me? As in, inverted colors and grey static everywhere.

The intro in Fallout 1 (after you character select) is fine, however.

If you haven't already, in the screen settings window try setting colours to 32bit. You access the screen settings off the main-menu under options.
The psychedelic colours bug is an issue with 8bit colour direct draw games and Windows Vista/7.
