I can't get under ground!!!!!!

i m having problems with my game
no matter how many times i tried....
i can't get underground........it pops me back to windows saying
fallout 2 caused an error or something like that,
first i thought it might just be probelms with my saved games
so i played the game again and i still can't get underground.....
what do a mean by 'underground'?
for example : the rat hole in klamath , the toxic caves and the modoc outhouse.....
if anyone has a solution plz tell me !!!!

If you're getting error messages I'd try reinstalling the game. It sounds like some files are missing or something.

If you're talking about underground in Golgatha you eed to patch the game. I had that problem and then patched the game. It fixed it.
