I just found the stranded whale as a random encounter and I found some daisies. Is there any use for these?

No, this is a useless encounter that's a reference to a book called "The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy". One of the greatest and most humorous sci-fi books. The writer, Douglas Adams, passed away earlier this week at the age of 49.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy were three or four books if I remember correctly. I've read one of those and I don't remember any daisies, so I better get the others as well.

The death of Douglas Adams was a sad thing.
