[FO2] Sun Scorcher?

Sun Scorcher?

Now I thought I knew quite a lot about the Fallout series, but some of you guys are genius', so where is this fabled weapon? I've completed Fallout 2 and I am now trying to find all these special encounters and such.

Well its actually called the solar scorcher, and it can be attained by gettin the star treck random encouter thingy where you get portaled through that loop thingy, once you are inside vault 13 turn on the combat mode to spot the scorcher on the ground. Thats how I found it.

It's a random encounter that requires a high luck count. It's fun to play with but I find that it's best to give to Vic, he actually does damage with something!

The encounter you refer to is called the "guardian of forever". A portal transports you back in time and you end up in Vault 13. there on the floor of the weapons room is the solar scorcher.

The Solar Scorcher was absolutely my favorite weapon in the game.

With a high enough skill, I could cut Aliens, Floaters, and Enclave Guards in HALF with one shot.

Oh yeah... :D
