Couldn't find a topic for this game. Just watched this trailer and my interest is hella piqued.



With the 2.5 isometric viewpoint, and what I assume is a silent protagonist, it looks like it could live up to their claims on the choice & consequence front.

Surprised I never heard of this game before. Releases on September 16th.
 
Wow it's about to release already? That one really flew under my radar. I really like the looks of it, absolutely will play.

It had a kickstarter campaign back in Feb/Mar 2020. It's been pretty silent since then I guess. I hadn't heard of it until I saw that trailer either.
 
Gamedec came out today and I bought it. Started the game and am probably half-way through the opening mission. Pretty good so far. You walk around to interact with things which always acts itself out as a conversation, even when logging in to a computer or searching the contents of a safe.

When you start the game, it asks what your character's motivation is and that decides your starting class. You can change classes I guess as you go along because you earn points in various attributes as you go on.

Also, there's a giant codex of entries you unlock as you play.

Really good so far, but again I just started it.
 
The RPGcodex doesn't seem to like this game. Then again it's the codex. You never know if their complaints are valid or just nitpicking until you play the game. As for the game it self. The setting turns me off. Always wanted a Cyberpunk detective RPG but I don't want to be in virtual game worlds most of the time. I want to in the actual real city. Also no combat. So this will just be a glorified visual novel like Disco Elysium.

Some takes place in the real world, some in the game.
