The biggest reason to human stupidity is the lack of thinking and much bigger scale of assumptions. We assume without thinking. THINK PEOPLE THINK! I agree with Jarno 100% that people should be left to judge things on their own. Still one has to remember that being in the middle of religious fanatics is bad idea when you start preaching against the religion they believe in.

They certainly won't think before acting. Stupidity is on you then.

Such as refusing to give people like that any credit because they serve no purpose. Uwe Boll deserves to have people vilify him actively, because once his loophole goes away, he will be hopefully shunned from the movie industry.

Jackass Thompson just hates for some reason, to not benefit of anyone, and most of the time he can't even coherently say what he's pissed off about except that "Gamers R DUMB!" He only gets some marginal support because people in turn do even worse things to him, though he does deserve it, leading to the persecuted syndrome that weekend Wicca often attention whore with.

The funding Boll exploited has been gone since Jan 1st, btw. Big loss for all those who used it for legitimate purposes.

So, stop pointing at German film funding, please. The funding wasn't the bad part, it just happened to be exploitable. Now it's gone and so are a lot of potential future independent films.
