my puter wont run gamespy arcade :( it says theres a winsoc error, anyone know how to fix that..?

Why should I bother? We all know Fallout is one of the greatest CRPGs in history, so personally I don't need to see it in the so-called "Top 50" lists.

zero-x's bitter words after his encounter with roshambo:

"I agree with you but there comes a fuckin point i dont know who roquirbo thinks he is but I at least you didnt really criticize me and i appreciate that i hate people who fuck with my ideas when i didnt say shit to em and yes he is the kind of guy i would take a scalpel tear his head open the take an hammer use the end to samsh through the medulla and use the nail pull as a pry to pull back the top of the skull revealing a brain (small but brain nontheless)and take desert eagle magnum and blow it through his fucking spine as he still breath and then rip out his heart and show him how black it is before he dies but as you said thats illegal well cya"

Yes, don't bother installing that buggy piece of shit.

It makes any Interplay Shovelware release look like Blizzard work!

FIXED! :)

It's always been clear:

That most people at Gamespy are cattle gamers, and it must have really shiny graphics in order to be good or whatever. They have done editorials and the like that just about put the kneepads on and kneel before certain publishers.

Too bad Blizzard isn't producing Fallout 3... though they would probably make it into a multi-player game... the (sad?) thing is that if Blizzard did make it into a multi-player game it would probably be good...

Starcraft: A game made over three years ago that still has a larger market share than any other RTS game...

There's quite a few differences between Warcraft II and Starcraft, I believe what makes Warcraft II and Starcraft seem very alike is that Blizzard was smart enough to take the successful parts of Warcraft II and apply them to their next Craft game.

Starcraft in my opinion was and is one of the most solid games ever created with multiplayer gaming in mind. I mean the challenge of balancing three entirely different races with entirely different strategy concepts for each is pretty impressive. Westwood on the other hand produces completely unbalanced games that make for a sorry multiplayer experience.

Warcraft II was good, but balance was achieved by having the Orcs and Humans basically the same, with a few differences in between.

Furthermore, somebody at Blizzard really had a head on their shoulders when they decided to package a map making utility with the game, and not that, but incorporated an entire trigger set for map makers to make Map Settings games. I'd say that adding a map making utility with triggers is one of the reasons Starcraft is still played (without Broodwars even) by over 10,000 players on Battle.net.

It's too bad that Blizzard doesn't publish the Fallout series...
