Interesting story, Di Caprio however didn't really fit in the movie
It has absolutely nothing to do with his performance. His face isn't simply good for a undercover trooper/unit (or whatever they were called).Malky said:Vault 13 said:2.The Departed :

Care to elaborate? I feel that DiCaprio's performance is probably the best in the film.

Di Caprio had better roles for example in "Catch me if you can" .
However, that is only my opinion.

SimpleMinded said:All the talk about The Prestige and nothing about The Illusionist? I'll be damned. They came out at the same time, and the Illusionist was incredible. Saw it the other night. Edward Norton does a great job playing his character and the fear of change in the government, mixed with Edward Norton's sleight of hands rocked. Not to mention the end was completely brilliant. A+ all around.
I'll give you Knocked Up, I personally think that's the best movie in the whole group of 40 Year Old Virgin/Knocked Up/Superbad. It struck me as the most real and I felt like the characters had the most likeable personalities.
Malky said:I love Judd Apatow and I loved Knocked Up, but Superbad is my personal favorite of that recent crop of flicks. I loved the dialog and related so much with all three of the main characters. The scene where Evan asks the girl out and then says goodbye and then they walk in the same direction down the hall kills me every time.
Malky said:The Illusionist is terrific and it is a shame that it came out at the same time as The Prestige. They're both strong movies, but I have to say The Prestige is much more enjoyable. Norton and Giamatti are excellent in The Illusionist, however.
