Getting stuck (repeatedly)

Hopefully this is the right section. Anyway... I am getting to the point where I can't be eff'd to keep playing this fucking game anymore, but before I shut it off and quit, I had a quick question in regards to a gameplay issue I have been suffering from.

I keep getting stuck.

Right now my guy is somewhere between Moonbeam and Hamilton, on this ship that has a safe and a few metal boxes, stuck between the metal boxes. I can't move. I've tried everything from saving/reloading, to shooting a missile into the ground hoping it'd send me flying (all it did was cripple me, of course.) This keeps happening. I am tired of walking around the wasteland feeling like I might get stuck at a moments notice. Anyone got a solution? The only solution I can think of is to burn the game disc and call it a night.

Cheat. Open the console (`) (you might have to add - console 1 to your executable link), type tcl to turn on no-clipping mode, walk out of the ground, type tcl again to turn it off

Huh, that worked. I also realized I could map to another location, lol, but your way saves the time of retracing my steps. Thanks.

I'm have this same issue, except turning collision off only allows me to "walk up" or "walk down" on a plane, but not away from my starting point. It's as though I'm stopped from "walking" all together.
