Ghoul Radiation Attack?

Most likely it'll be the smaller/tougher to find "splinter" BoS group. Because a basic trope in high fantasy is to make you wander around, almost aimlessly, untli you find the uber-counter item or ability, or someone who can give or teach the item or ability to you.

One word, Wabbajack. If they don't have something like it in it, I'm going to pay someone to mod it in. + a shrine to Sheogorath. He makes oblivion bearable.

What Bethesda could do, is add a mixture between a chainsaw and a power fist. You know, you put it on your hand and it's a chainsaw . . .

That would totally redeem the ghoul decision.

BOOMSTICK!

You mean a chainfist?

I wouldn't doubt they'd stick stuff like that in the game, after all, chainsaws are totally awesome weapons. Who needs range, speed or silence when you can spend a minute trying to hack through a person's neck?

/vote chainsaw!

Also, I don't think that any sort of "magic" would be appropriate for the series, but I do think that you should get radiated through exposure to the mutants. Their blood must be saturated with radiation! So I guess if bethesda HAS to put in a ranged radiation attack, they should just have the mutants squirt their blood at you or something.

uh.....I don't think radiation flows *with* blood or is contagious like AIDS. Ghouls' can irradiate you with their presence, as their cells radiate with radiation. You need to be exposed to a source of radiation for a period of time to be irradiated (how long depends on its intensity)

I want to be a ghould and spread radiation and use a sniper rifle with high perception.
Ghouls are the best. Future belongs them

So you're saying that if I have enough radiation inside me to turn me into a MUTANT that I won't have any in my blood? Or at least not enough to potentially damage those who come into contact with it?

Anyway, I was under the impression that I was just trying to make a halfassed attempt to cover up beth's shoddy plot holes.

About that radiation and glowing ones and ghouls and radiation zap attack in Fallout 1.....

the 1st time I played (endurance 6 + metal armor) and visited Necropolis, got the water chip...after all that, I noticed back in vault 13 that my character HAD level 1 radiation effect.

I remember that I ran by many living glowing ones, killed glowing sentries near merchant body, near water ship computer.....

So radiation attack is confirmed.

So it´s not about getting kicked by glowing ones but their presense is enough.

Would be interesting that if some smart person would crack open critters info from game and then we would see...

What you said made no sense. Your character HAD level 1 radiation effect? What level 1?

Glowing ghouls put off radiation. Just being near them you will get hit with radiation.

True, but you won't get more radiated if they punch you. Even if they grew some new kind of radiaton-based power, I doubt their crippled minds could be able to control it

HOW THE HELL I am not making any sense if I tell that my character BECAME radiated in Necropolis???????????????????????
Because it happened, I don´t know HOW, I just SAW below my hitpoints that I was RADIATED.

+

Read the MANUAL man.

there is few levels of radiation, and it gets more and more fatal,

I used...what was it..RadAway
and NEWS FLASH, game announces "level of radiation removed"

BTW wtf? ftw? I thought this thread was about GHOUL RADIATION ATTACK, not levels of radiation.....FINE that LEVEL might be from xxx rem to xxxx rem in manual. For that RadAway hypo it´s 25%, that´s much it removes radiation....25%....did you hear? 25%

DO you know what word "level" means? it´s not about character levels 1 2 3...believe me it CAN be even larger RANGE, like 1-10= 1st level, and so on x - xxxx.

Right, right, but what if the ghouls rape you?

1 RAD level isn't exactly signifcant, you know. Effects only start to heap up in the hundreds.
