Gothic Controls

I thought I'd give the demo a try and see if I like the game or not, but the controls are a bit.... ehhh... taking me forever to figure out simple things. Finally figured out how to pick up objects, equip, fight, etc..

Now how do you get items out of containers?

Edit: Sorry, guess I should have kept messing around.. have to hold left click (or action) and then press right arrow / strafe right or whatever.

Worst inventory management hassle I've yet to see in any game. xD

I needed just a few hours to go into the controls, when I played it first years ago. Don't know if it is just me, but I like the controls in general. Sure, for new players it is very strange, but for me it is the kind of feeling that tells me "yes, this is Gothic what I play!" - for me, they are a part of the game and also a part of the "this game rocks"-feeling thingy. Yeh.

I don't like to play the game with keyboard and mouse- the thing I hated in Gothic 3.

Yes, the controls in Gothic are pretty wacky, and in parts they're just annoying (like inventory management), but they're functional when you get used to them.

Moving/interacting/combat gets a lot easier as you get used to the controls. Navigating the inventory kinda sucks though.
