GSC Gameworld is shutting down; no S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2

It's an even greater loss than when Bethesda took over Fallout and made FO3.. Before FO:NV it was the only source of post-apocalyptic 3D gaming and it still is a much better shooter in every way.. A little odd that they never really bothered with RPG elements.. Would have been awesomeness incarnated, but they made a lot of errors.. so maybe.. nah, anyway. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. added a hell of a lot of variation, atmosphere, challenge and scary darkness and not least an extremely refreshing russian (or ukrainian) accent to the english.. Not to mention all those parts that weren't translated as well as the jokes and bonfire music.. Even though they killed parts of that in the last installment along with a few other things, actually quite a lot of few things.. Still, a great, great loss. (in my opinion)

I have a very strong feeling this is a hoax totally like the GOG.com fiasco while back. As much as I love STALKER that would re-enrage me.
