GTA IV finally confirmed and dated for the PC

Meh, same stuff every time. I'll pass, as I'll be playing Fallout 3 with heart-beating abandon.

HAHAHAH, I kill me.

I like GTA. I only played San Andreas, though, my cousin got Vice City, so I'm gonna borrow from her soon. I like open-sandbox games, they got some incredible potential. Maybe that's because I hate linearity and endings set in stone. I like my decisions to influence what happens during the game and in the ending. I wish they made a more RPG version of this kinda game. Think San Andreas with skills, but with ACTUAL DIALOGUES! (YES/NO my foot, gimme some cool stuff to talk), more strategic combat and made with PC focus.

Also, I gave up GTASA in the training missions of airplanes. I spent days and days training until I starved and ALLLLL my muscle was gone! DAMN!

I'll chime in with the "gave up on GTA VC because of the remote helicopter mission" crowd. I'll admit though that I didn't find the game that interesting, except for the radio.

Of all the GTA's I like San Andreas the most. I found the skills aspect of it fun, and I became a huge, fat black dude with cornrows who probably smelled terribly.

I may get GTA IV because it has been compared to "The Godfather" which is one of my favourite movies of all time.

Be wary of anything that is compared to The Godfather.

In this case, GTAIV is entertaining, but is nowhere near The Godfather in terms of anything.

GTAIV: Pissed off Serbian immagrant on a vendetta.

Godfather: Epic novel based movie with everything a mob movie needs.

On subject.

I will play it on the PC. I have a new PC being built by my cousin. Gonna be awesome. Didn't like it soo much on the consoles. I liked the other 3D GTA games on a PC wayyyy better.

I expect this to be the same just with crappy helicopter flying. As with the others.

I'll get Fallout 3 Survival Edition, play that till I know the in's and out's of it like the back of my hand, mod the hell out of it, and then pick up GTA IV when its reduced in price by 50 bucks. Don't get me wrong I like GTA 4, but I've played alot of it on PS3, and I'm in no rush to start all over, I'll mostly get it just to mod and goof off on.
