GTA V Gameplay Trailer

This looks incredibly polished, and great. Even the mini games could be fun, something I think the others generally failed at.

All I can think of with Grand Theft Auto and other contemporary games that let you commit crimes and such, is the half an hour I spent in Saints Row 3, doing one mission, punching random people and then thinking "Well this is it. And it's shit. This entire set up is stupid." And I quickly uninstalled it.

Maybe Grand Theft Auto is less like that, but this game doesn't make me very hopeful.

I haven't played Saints Row, but yes, this is very much an urban sandbox game, one with a world that doesn't really respond with long term consequences. However, I find the sandbox play fun, and the writing to be pretty top notch satire and hilarious.

Poor Saints Row 4, is going to be destroyed by GTA5. Not a mega fan of GTA (I loved only Vice City) but it definitively looks interesting. I wonder if this is really the PS360 version, the framerate seems too stable. Oh, well. I'll wait for the PC or next gen console version, or if they don't come (ahaha, right) I'll buy the inevitable GOTY version.

Yeah, it's awesome. <3

I seriously don't get why people would care about GTAV when Sainst Row 4 is coming out too. I mean, yo ucan throw people around with telekinesis, freeze them solid and killing them with a Dubstep Gun in SR4, what does GTAV offer?

It's GTA. It's more "serious". Has higher production values. Nothing wrong with that.

That said, I disliked GTA4. Really, really disliked.

Looks content packed and I liked San Andreas better than any of the other games, so I'm happy to return to that area.

Those graphics are evidence of stagnation though, good grief that game looks shit.

I'm guessing that was run on a console - you shouldn't expect too much.

Not too excited for this, though. I'm guessing it's going to be a rushed PC-port, along with the fact that there's multiple characters. Hard time imagining how they will implement it well.

It will look the same on PC, as is the way of ports.

Saints Row is pretty much the definition of trying too hard. Some people like it, some don't.

I liked it. While the filler was sometimes annoying, I liked Niko's story. Especially the brutality of it and ending up mired in the same things he was running away from.

The player characters seem to be interesting and the "tag team" gameplay addition seems nice, but all the mini games, i'm not sure, it just looks like a waste of time (facebook farmwille territory). I'd rather see a few interesting puzzles , but since minigames are not mandatory, it's not a big problem.

Hope this game is not like the previous one, which i didn't like at all.

understandable.
I actually like it because it's so out there and shameless it's a nice break from the "Stick up it's ass" demeanor of most of the game industry.

Yes, I hope they really take into consideration the improvements Red Dead Redemption had over GTA IV, though I loved both games. For one I assume they removed the annoying Friends system.
