Gwent Is being made for online.

Yess!! :D

gonna play as Scoia'tael, or squirrel if you northling prefer to call :P

Aen minne aep elaine fuelk,

Dubhenn haern ninnau glândeal. Morc'h ninnau fhean aiesin.

Getting pretty excited about this. I'm really really hoping they get the balancing right, and that they somehow make it stay interesting for a while. Gwent in TW3 is hella fun, but extremely unbalanced. And after a while every game feels exactly the same.

From what I've seen, they've at least rebalanced spies so you don't automatically roflstomp if you get enough of them on the board.

or maybe the spies is still too strong enough that nilfgaardian are gonna be absent

Where are my NorthernBros players at?

(The Online Game is going to be free to play, With no type of monetization at all. It is going into closed alpha September of 2016.)

NORTHERN REALMS!!! Crush the opposition with lots and lots of Blue Stripes Commandos! (And trick them to use their scorch cards early...)

I recall (don't quote me on this) seeing that the value of spies have been raised and they don't give out as much cards as before (can only pick one if I recall). I guess that counts as a nerf. I'm surprised that they are including a single-player campaign with it too.

let see of how many siege card they have. the biggest weakness of their deck is how easy to eccounter them with a weather card.

True enough. I lose count on the number of times a weather card has screwed me over. Which is why I keep some clear weather cards in my deck. Surprised to see the Skellige deck as one of the four available decks for the game, I guess that's why it was so emphasized in Blood and Wine then.

I guess that the Nilfgaadian deck may be added in as an expansion much later after the game's launch?

EDIT: Anyone else see the Roach card illustration yet?

I can't wait for Gwent to come out, I got an email after I signed up for the beta that they will start the closed beta in September. I can't wait, Gwent is possibly the most fun I have had with any card game so I am quite excited to see it coming. I do hope a mobile version is planned so I can play on the road or at work, that would be the only game I would play on my phone then.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Deck Builder is now Up!
We are very happy to announce our deck builder is now live! This is only the first step, we have a few more improvements in the next few days such as the search field working on ability text! However the Deck Builder was not the only addition. We have fixed a few bugs and have pushed two new things!

  • Clicking a card image on its database page will now take you to a full sized high quality image of the card. Check it out.
  • We now display the Loyalty of cards in the database making it much easier to see what cards are loyal and disloyal.
Note: The deck builder is based on early information at E3 and thus is missing many cards, and functionality may change at any point.

Not sure if anyone noticed but on Friday CDPR is hosting a Kill The Server closed server test. You can find relevant information here https://www.playgwent.com/en/killtheservers

From what I understand they are allowing people, who get a certain code, to play the game before the real closed beta in october to test server stability. Deck customization is not in the server test, only premade decks.
Has anyone here gotten into it yet?

I played a bit last friday and a bit today. Don't know about getting a certain code or anything, I just signed up on the webpage.
Is pretty fun, but the deck variety is a bit meh because there was only 2 decks on friday, but there was 4 decks (including the 2 previous ones with slight variations) today. I'm more looking forward to making my own silly decks when the beta starts.

Dang, I missed both emails about the events. Whatever, haven't really had time anyway.
