Half-Life 2 gone gold?

Oh! Come and see the violence inherent in the system! Help! Help! I'm being repressed!

the site Ratty mentioned isnt illegal Odin, people just tend to take advantage of it :p

but i guess we've had this talk before...

SuAside is right. Suprnova is no more illegal than an average P2P service, simply because they have no illegal software on their server, only .torrent files (which are still perfectly legitimate.) If this were not true, they would have been shut down long ago.

The site isn't illegal, but we all know what's there. I'm just making sure we don't post links to sites that have pirate warez, you all know I don't like that.

I "picked up" CS: Source at the local "store" earlier. It's pretty good. But, I mean, it's CS. You still can't win at it. Even tha bots score headshots every time. At least your body looks good dying 35 seconds into a match.

may i ask how CS:S cant be won, and why in the fucking hell you are playing against bots????

Please tell me you are not really that ignorant.
who exactly? I mean, the whole "ignorance" vibe is pretty heavy in here.

And about that earlier statements, i'm gonna leave them there, just to show how fast things can turn around... a few minutes after i posted that, i learned about the halo leak, and a few days later, GTA:SA... anyway, i think my main point is, the pirate people are taking longer to be able to get a release out... it's quite rarer now to get games leaked over a month before the release, like was common even a few years ago... what you are seeing more and more now is leaks happening in 5 to 10 days before the official release

Thats probably because theres so many games to leak nowadays. I remember was it vengeance or some other hacking group releasing Battlefield: Vietnam 3 weeks earlier on a slow games day.

South Korea has no console gaming, they have PC's and they obsess over them wayyyy too much. PC gaming in South Korea is like soccer in Brazil. Everybody goes crazy over it and everybody knows the rules of the game, even if they dont play it themselves. There is a kid who is the Starcraft champion who has his own business card (for being the champion) and its a cd rom with his resume of game experience. At least the kids arent being trained to be cold blooded killers, they're being trained to lack exposure to the sun and exercise! :o

Not to mention cheap DSL. South Korea is a country I would want to live in. The only thing that bothers me is the proximity of North Korea and the fact that in case of a global war, South Korea would probably be the battlefield of US and Chinese forces. But as long as they don't damage the broadband infrastructure with their nukes and stuff, I don't mind a little bloodshed.
