Alright...who can't wait? Lol. I sure can't. To be honest, it may be blasphemous...but I'd rather have Halo 2 than Fallout 3 if given the choice between them to appear right now. The trailer for it I recieved from X-box mag was amazing. The action looks to die for, and the multiplayer levels...I can only...FANTASIZE...Bungie is a excellent studio for gaming. They are making huge strides between the two games. It is going to be Halo on anabolic steroids!! The multiplayer maps will rule with banshee's and fourwheelers.

If the Flood make another appearance than I'm not interested. I really liked the game up until the Library level - after that it was just tedious. Haven't tried multiplayer yet.

Is this going to be released for PC as well, or are they going to wait two years to port it like the original?
 
The Halo multiplayer game is one of the best things I've ever played. Vehicle combat is amazing.
And I don't think the Flood would make another appearance, cause they looked pretty much contained to the original Halo device, and we all know what happened to that.

I hope they don't do what they did to the original. Maybe I'll try it on PC, if I can get the money together for a decent mouse, but I won't wait for it like the first. I still haven't played it. Never will.

No, actually I heard Halo 2 is pretty impressive. But I have heard that the X-box version is better. The local retails are telling me- go console for Halo 2.

But I don't own a console..... sigh.

What we need is a demo.....
 
Dang! I'm really annoyed by the fact that there are so many gaming consoles! So many good games come on Xbox (such as Halo, Fable and KOTOR) and GameCube (well..... let me think.... Harvest Moon?). But then again, so many good games come on PS too (such as Final Fantasy-series, Gran Turismo's...). If I had to choose between The Box or PS I'd choose PS.

Not a chance. First person shooters shouldn't even be on platforms at all. Halo for the PC was tons better for the PC than the Brick.

I totally agree. FPS should be played with mouse + keyboard.
Tried UT on PS2 once and it felt like a bad dream. You know, where you're stuck on the stairs and some bloodthirsty villain is chasing you at the speed of light but you just don't seem to move, you can't get away, you're f***** and you know it.
I gave it an hour of my precious time. FPS just don't work on consoles. Especially not if you're used to the good ol' mouse + keyboard combo.
 
I love how my friends that believe they are good at Halo on the brick think that they can somehow take me on the PC. AAHAHAHAHAHA.
I really wish the brick could link to the PC so I could play them.
Not only will they lose because they'd be playing the brick, they'd lose because of my supreme godlike halo skills. I was the campus wide Halo champion at my school.
I'm so good at Halo online that people get pissed all the time when I'm playing them because they believe that I'm hacking or cheating. In a 16 player 50 kill team-slayer match, I will have a minimum of 30 of my teams kills. I haven't been defeated in Halo since the first week I bought it. I still can't believe it: I'm so good at Halo that people actually think I'm cheating. What does that say? That I rule. :rule:

BTW, if anyone wants to try my skills, pm me or IM me on AIM for a game. I'd be happy to oblige. :wink:

Seriously, it looks like one of the most over-hyped, over-rated games ever, on both formats. Give me Half-Life any day. I hope DOOM III kicks the ass of Halo 2.

You don't know much about Halo, do you?
 
All I know is that I'm looking forward to the games which seem, according to game magazines, superior to Halo 2(Half Life 2 and Doom III). And what else I know is that I'd rather play Max Play 01 on the GBA than sell out to Halo.
 
First of all, you shouldn't be listening to what game magazines have to say at all. They're wrong most of the time and stupid all of the time. Second, you would in no way "sell out" by playing Halo. If, in fact, you think you're capable of "selling out" by playing really any video game, you're dumb. Third, the only way to judge a game is to have played it yourself, which you have proven you haven't with Halo.
