Happy 4th of July!

I wonder if 'Freedom Fries' is still on the Congressional restaurant menu?

The Independence Day fireworks over Washington DC were great. The only problem was the high humidity, so the smoke from the fireworks hung around and was rather thick. Mid-way through, some of the smaller fireworks became obscured by the smoke. Also, a single firework misfired and went off on the ground. It was a great display overall, nothing like watching fireworks in person.

I am a bit tardy with this but you know what they say: better late than never
Anyway I was wondering about one thing: how come no terrorist attacks took place? I mean any terrorist organization worth it's salt would have made a move on the 4th! Can this be a miracle? Did the CIA and FBI finally do their jobs right? What do you think?
 
Sure they finally did their jobs. Just like they did on Christmas, Hannukah, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, New Years, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Labor Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Earth Day, Valentine's Day, Veteran's Day, Halloween, and for three years too!
 
Hey thats an idea, hide the antrax in the fireworks. Man i should have become terrorist advisor.
