As i said you are exaggerating. They were just petty criminals, you are giving them far more credit than they deserve. Since our independence the budget was constantly used to fund someones personal luxuries, by the time sanader took the helm all that was left was that old black and white tv and a carpet with an ugly stain. The power you are talking about is meaningless even slovenia made us bend over.
Just ignore it man. You are in a privileged position, when you finish school you'll probably get a job there then you'll marry and have kids. If all ends up well you'll raise your kids and retire,you'll build your self a house here and return to your motherland to spend the rest of your days talking to people in a weird accent.
