HELP PLEASE

I have downloaded Fallout New Vegas on Steam completely. However, when I click the play button and the launcher menu appears, my only option relating to starting reads 'INSTALL'. When I click this button, the loading menu for the launcher window restarts, leading to the same page. This same issue occurs with the game Skyrim (I'm unsure if that relates to the problem). Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Right click the game, then -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify integrity of game cache.


That should help. If not, then something else and very strange is at fault.

You could also try a tool like the nexus mod manager to start the game.
