Oops. I see what you mean. In 'Covert Ops' mission disk, there are a lot of hidden music. I just found it. Thank god I didn't delete mixmaker and aud2wav! Thanks anyway!

That old program? Sheesh, get with the times.. well not really, but get RAMIX: http://www.euronet.nl/users/jdl/redi.html

It really kicks MixMaker's ass. It also has a built-in AUD player so you can listen to the sounds *within* the mix files (beats extracting them all).

Too bad the C&C:TD Audio CD didn't come with (?) Times.. It came with almost all the others. They're a lot better in quality (including extra mixed in sounds) than the extracted versions.

Good ol' Techno-Industrial.

RE: I WAS LOOKING ALL OVER FOR IT!!!

Thanks for links. As for other music... Well I can tell you, when I installed Covert Ops, music didn't change a BIT. No new music (like Be Feared, or Die), and no remixes! I think it was a bug or something... (?) Times kicks ass, definitely one of the best scores by Klepacki.

There are a few remixes on the Covert Ops disc, like "Act on Instinct" and "Looks like Trouble," and a couple of new tracks "Reaching out to other worlds," but for the most part the same. Actually the songs in Covert Ops are transition songs between the original CDs and the CD Audio CD I have. "To Be Feared" is half-mixed, "Act on Instinct" and "Looks Like Trouble" have different voices and lengths from the CD tracks, and many remixed songs aren't on there.

I think Klepacki's "No Mercy" (CD Audio Remixed version) is his best work, you can hear voices of what sound like evil dictators, and also the synthesized voice saying "No Mercy." It really is a piece. I'll have to give you a copy. (Mp3, 256kbs, 16bit Stereo).

RE: I WAS LOOKING ALL OVER FOR IT!!!

If you mean the one that played during the "Ion Strike Strikes Nod Base" video, I'll take it. Please. :-)

Yeah, the music in the background of that movie is from the remixed version of "No Mercy" not the unmixed version that comes in the game. Hell, I even converted the sound from that movie too.

There's a program called C&C_Anim which allows you to view the videos and extract the music (no more AVI extracting). Also screenshots.

I'll put No Mercy on Poseidonet when I get the chance.

Nah, I already can play these videos without converting them. Strange thing - there's a video with a helicopter flying over a valley/crater infested with tiberian life form. I didn't see it in the game. Same goes for the video when you are inside the tiberium refinery.

The tiberium refinery appears in the end movie of the game.

The tiberium veins (which is what they're called) in that other movie appear in Tiberium Sun. Even those wierd crawling things do. It is pretty odd that they appear in TD though..

Yeah - in a tiny window for 10 seconds. And if we're talking about movies - in ending credits there were a lot of movie clips that weren't in the game (some appeared in Red Alert, though). Like a fight between underwater soldiers, some sort of plague in the museum etc.

True true..

Hey if you want to get the rest of the tracks of the Audio CD I'd suggest buying it from Westwood. The only way to do it is to call one of their lines and talk to one of the guys in charge of the ordering people. It has been removed from the online ordering system and that's the only way to get it. Actually they'll tell you they don't have it, but they do, you just have to talk to the guy in charge. One of the rarest CDs around.

RE: I WAS LOOKING ALL OVER FOR IT!!!

I can't get my Napster to connect to server, so it means I'm pretty much overboard the mp3-exchanging community :-(

But can you at least give me the detailed list of tracks? Maybe there's a couple of mp3's I REALLY want, so you could upload them only?
