Hillary Clinton is probably now going to be the next president.

As opposed to how completely proven it is that Trump wants to bone his own daughter.
The thing is that is how people might interpret it.
You mean the election where Woodrow Wilson from the Democratic Party won because the Republicans were fractured into Republicans and Progressives?
Thanks for researching - yes I do
If she wasn't his daughter. Ergo he praised her apperance and/or personality.
Good Point. I concede to you there.
Because involvement in murder and corruption is so much more benevolent than offending easily offendable people.
I guess so, but his offensiveness will lose him votes. If he can make people aware of her murder and corruption, I think it will nullify his offensiveness, but only if he does. Its a huge thorn in his side if he does not.

Yeah, sure, you making your vote utterly irrelevant will make them reconsider their positions. Johnson has neither the appeal or the momentum Ron Paul had, what makes you think he'll do any better?
So you just vote for people you don't like or disagree with just so you have the smug satisfaction that your vote is one of those 40% or 50% who voted that same lad or lass.
Imagine if you people actually understood democracy and, you know, voted for someone else. Let's say 20% or even 10% of the people in America really dislike Trump or Clinton and all decided to vote for Johnson. Don't you think the Democrats and Republicans would notice that and maybe even start shaking in their boots a bit?
Just imagine what America could be like if you people actually noticed that you live in a democracy.
But it's the best democracy money can buy, after all...

As opposed to being one of those people that voted for the third-party candidate just to show how cool and contrarian you are. Third-party candidates and usually third parties themselves are one-trick ponies.

Libertarians are usually Republican voters and the Republican candidate would suffer for it.

As for the imagining, imagine if people actually understood that the very concept of state is violent and immoral. Throw in a few unicorns for good measure while you're at it.

Seriously who cares about Trump and Hillary or who is going to be the president. President don't make any decisions, it's the bureaucracy who decide and execute what is best for itself, the experts (or technocrat if you prefer the terms) who make up the laws, the lobbyists who pay the bill and have the right to choose. At the end of it, president are just a glorified Heirloom Seal of the Realm to legitimate all decisions made by peoples who don't care about you by granting them the Mandate of Heaven.

In short, the president is a simple piece of carved stone who got no free will (not that it exist in the first place), no agency, and can only do what he is asked to do by more powerful people.

How does that affect the truth?

So you agree that third parties in the election are just a trick to divide the Republican voters?

Not as many as you may think. Even the groups that are "supposed" to hate him like hispanics and blacks seem to prefer him over Hillary, and his anti-immigration policies would be good for America's lower classes. As for 80 % of women hating him, I can't find a single source which isn't a radical leftist site such as Salon or Huffpost.

Truth does not matter - he will lose votes because people interpret him as a bigot
So you agree that third parties in the election are just a trick to divide the Republican voters?
No! where'd you get that from?
What's the point of that? You know that the third party candidate will not win. You might as well not vote.
This is what you said, so I wanted to make sure you knew about how Roosevelt did very well - 88 electoral votes - he had a chance of winning

But you were saying that he's doing shady things with his daughter, not that misinformed voters might think that he does by reading quotes taken out of context.

Just like his famous quote that illegal immigrants are rapists. He said that there are also good people amongst the illegals in his very next sentence.

The results of the election?

This is what you said, so I wanted to make sure you knew about how Roosevelt did very well - 88 states - he had a chance of winning
As opposed to Wilson's 435. That's some chance.
Which actual data did The Intercept use to make this graphic?

people tend to latch onto the first thing someone says.
You continually try to justify him, which you do, but thats not how it works with voters.

no your quote above

He still did very well

polling data said that roughly seven out of 10 women voters in recent polls say they have a negative impression of him.
dont trust polls though. they do lie sometimes, but those polls seem to be concrete

this is turning into an endless debate where nobody wins, I am done replying to you

All of this (false) information was around from day one, yet Trump still won the nomination. Who's to say that he can't win the presidency too?

He still did very well

Going back to the point about voting, I have to kind of agree with Illuminati Confirmed! on this one. Without a proportionally representative electoral system like STV, you might as well just spoil your ballot than vote third party for all the good it does you. Unfortunately tactical voting is the way things have to be under FPTP.
