History of NMA

Everybody heard it here first William Dempsey is Inspector Gadget!

The lame one though. *losing price is right music*

;)

Ok now everyone shut the fuck up unless this is about History before I send you to Redacted and do not let you out. I might need to go ask daddy first but he loves me.

So if NMA was fucked pre 2003 and there was a schism ;then pre 2022 things were desperate, NMA is tough as old boots and will live forever on my external hard drive.

NMA was not fucked it was more like it needed a new home due to software changing, Interplay being the shits, and all that. Most of the people did tag along so there was not a big loss. It would have carried on somewhere no matter what.

2022 problems are strictly due to Facebook and forums now being even less popular due to Discord and other services.

Go a few pages back, I put a link to the website of V13.NET during it's heyday in early 2001. I posted that back in August! 8-)

Oh, and WAYBACK MACHINE FOR THE WIN! :-D
Man that was a blast from the past. I mean, I saw ICQ list, wow. About 20 years ago, man I remember looking forward to the RP sessions back in the day. Now places like FORPG and Hidden Rest are but memories. Still glad to know I did not imagine it all.

Since people have mentioned this website before in this thread, and I think this even had a link to it too at one point back in the day.
I've decided to finally add it! Oh, and it's also because I just recently found the archived link to it.

:-D

So here it is, Doombot's San Andreas Vault:

Also, what happened to this website anyway? And whatever happened to Doombot?

Cool link. I have no idea what happened to Doombot but surely Alexa must be walking by now ;p

Doombot is one of the top cards in Marvel Snap.

Here's another link to a yet another old website, it's where The AOF was located at the time. Oh and apparently they merged with The Unwashed Village around this time too for some reason.

Check it out:

Also, does anyone know exactly what TEH AOF actually was? And if there's any old timers that are still active on the forums, do you remember it's exact purpose and what happened to it? Because based on what's been said in previous pages on this thread, it seems that it was some kind of rival group/clan of The Order.

it's pretty incredible that YTMND still works, all other media (image / audio / file hosting) from 20 years ago has all but disappeared from the internet

Certain members of DAC cheered and whistled when NMA was down last year. They scoffed, then asked " Who is the oldest fallout site now? "
Svines.
