HomeLAN Fed decided to post a 10 ways for IPLY to earn some money newsbit, which is basicly out to poke fun at Interplay:
10. Raffle off the rights to Descent and Freespace to mod authors.
9. Convince Donald Trump to fund a Trump MMORPG.
8. Organise tours of Interplay's offices; "Look, here is Mr. Landlord...."
7. Sell the movie rights for Kingpin to Vin Diesel.
6. Make a special DVD; "Interplay Gone Wild"
5. Make sure to turn off all lights and computers at night.
4. Appeal to gamers to buy all unsold copies of Lionheart.
3. Announce merger agreement with 3DO..wait a minute....
2. Announce new Fallout RPG developed by Trokia; Fallout fans will pre-order the game enough to keep the lights going.
And the number one way Interplay can raise money:
1. Start answering the phones with, "Interplay; want to buy the company?".
Erm..ok....

While in a recent term(s) in resident school in Oklahoma.
Had the opportunity to catch up on all that cable TV I've been missing.

"Girls Gone Wild" was a late night ad for an allegedly "soft" porn, allegedly "real time" recording of drunken babes out on the loose. It was on fast rotation on commercial stations. The cable network would be allowing access to a multiple selection of local broadcast network stationns (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX) and the standard cable channels.

All through the night you could channel surf and continually run into
"Girls Gone Wild".

There must have been a huge ad budget to cover all the mid west and 'true' west U.S.

Maybe "Girls Gone Wild" will be the "Vegamatic" TV ad pop reference icon of the 21st Century. ""Interplay Gone Wild-DVD"" is echoing off this American Pop reference, and reflects the deep penetration of sex and public humilation (IN REAL TIME!) that stands in as important and timely exercises in our First Amendment freedoms.

Snoop Dog was the "Pimp Daddy" guest spokeperson in these info'tainment style presentations, so maybe the genre will be catagorized as a pan cultural (S) EXploitation video.

We might consider that FO:BOS was Interplay's vain attempt of pursuing the demographic that has been fueling "The Girls Gone Wild" industry.
