Experience is in the PRO files. Check the offset in a Fallout2 PRO and try to relate it to a FO1 PRO - if none of the fan-made critter editor works, edit the value in the official editor, save the PRO and look for the weird value you set in a hex viewer... Still need to look for the same thing in the FO1 format but I can't help you much there.Frank Horrigan@BIS said:I didn't notice before now that the new BOS soldiers are missing aim descriptions! Also, you don't see the damage that you (or anyone else) hit them for and you don't get any experience for their deaths! Were do I edit this?
I don't know about the damage done, nor even have the slightest guess as to what that problem might be, sorry.
There's GIF2FRM which actually accepted animated tiles (I've tested it successfully on scenery). Note that it probably doens'T support multi-direction FRMs, but you can get around that by only using FR0-FR5 type of animations instead. Also, I'm wondering if there nowadays is bmpfrm editor that allows you to create a frm file with multiple bmp pictures?
It's somewhere on this forum, as well as DaCs... I got the official compiler working just fine personally. You need to precompile the scripts before you compile them though (a bit like the original compiler version 1.something, before DEC/IPP).And were do I get a good script compiler? I've gotten the original editors but they don't seem to work (you just get a message about an syntax error). Also were do I download the compiler from Noid?
