How do you play tactics?

Still Mildly Glowing
CTB, individual turn based, or squad? Though i much enjoy the original fallout games in turned base, this game takes too long playing it that way. is it possible to execute moves simultaneously? like have one character go to the left and another to go to the right so they meet up and shoot the enemy at the same time?

I think this game was meant to be played in CTB.Thats how i played.

In squad turn based, you can bring one of your guy, shoot, and then bring another and shoot too. And then its the comp's turn.

Yeah, but still in STB the enemy can fire at you if he is in overwatch mode. And they usually are.

And I play mostly in CTB and some nice ambushes work the best in STB.

i play as it is set to by defult...you know, not turn based, but with action points that regenerate....

I always played Fallout Tactics in CTB, but I did always use STB on a few occasions, like when you have to protect the ghouls from the beastlord (Quincy) and mutant raids (where you need to get the nuclear warhead). Things tend to get to chaotic when you play those few scenes in CTB, but for the rest CTB is the way to go. It's smoother than STB, that's for sure, and not hard at all.

Well I beat the game in Individual Turn Based. Now I started it again without any turns.

I dont play it.

Execpt for a few of the graphics, such as the new laser, plasma, and gauss effects, the game was a disapointment.
