I was wondering how to reduce animated gif image sizes so that i can get it under the guidelines of this forum. Does anyone know a program that I can use or ect.? thanks

Sadly I don't know how to do what you say. I'm only commenting here to give some consolation since I've tried to have gifs as avatars and unfortunately had them use too many bytes.

Also I had to talk about your avatar eventually. I love MST3K and I even recognize the scene from your current avatar. I really hope you don't get it working as a gif since if you do I'll probably burst out laughing in my universitys computer lab and bother everyone.

Sincerely,

Adobe imageready, comes with photoshop. expensive though, maybe try gimp, never used it before but i think it can do it and its free

-Get yourself a gif animator, there's plenty of free ones you find around; try www.nonags.com, they have tons of freeware stuff in there.

-Once you have the gif animator running, open a gif file, copy each frame and paste to another graphic editor of your choice.

-Using any graphic editor, resize each frame, copy and paste into gif animator and either overwrite the original frames or create a new file.
