How to paint Mona Lisa using only MS Paint..!

Incredible  . It shows that art skills are 1000 times more important than functions of a program.

That is pretty amazing. I know for damn sure I couldn't do that.
All those other comments made people saying how it's not art is a bunch of horseshit, simply because this guy was just showing what he could do on paint.
Took 2 hours, impressive.

Pretty damn cool.

That is mad skillz, no, seriously.

Aye, it must have taken a lot of patience and precision skillz to thoroughly measure and analyze the painting to skillfully copy it in MS Paint.

In my opinion, This isn't "art skills", it's "reproduction skills", mkay?

Care to clarify your point of view?

Well to me, if you can replicate a great art work, what can you do on your own?
If you have the right vision you obviosly have the talent. And I should have clarified more, it was more "why jump down his throat" instead of saying "Well this isn't really art you know, it's a good mimic". I just thought the people were a little pissy bout it.

You know, coming up with a brilliant painting and copying one are two separate things.

If you have the right vision you obviosly have the talent.

See above. As I understand it, talent refers to the ability to create something, not reproduce.

Oh, certainly; I couldn't agree more.

His technical skills in MS paint and in painting reproduction are awesome, no doubt. No need to comment just to bash the author, as he's clearly made some serious work.

Nevertheless, I can understand people get irritated when reproduction is called "art".

It's quite impressive, but the biggest problem is "Why?".

I mean, to demonstrate that he can make something in MSPaint? :?
Wouldn't you? I mean, if I suddenly realised that I could fart in color I would probably go sky diving and do the flag of france. And post it on youtube.

That would be awesome. So anyway, we got impressed. And I think you have your "why" right there.

To show off his skills to other people?

Whaaat? How is that even possible in paint? Why is that even possible for a single man to do? Why?

It is thoroughly impressive. The average Joe can't even draw a stick figure in MSpaint without it looking overly blocky, and this guy reproduces a masterpiece.

Puts my skills to shame, that's for sure.

Older than mister Gaylord MacShaggerhard himself.

But neat. Probably faked, though, in some way or another.

gimme 10. 000 monkeys, 10. 000 computers and 10.000 user doses of amfetamins and ill do it!

ok maybe not.. impressive tough

Wonder what he used to fake this.

it would take more effort to fake it than to make it. I don't know if he had a mouse or a graphic pen pad thingamagiger. It makes a fantastic difference.

Does he have "skills" yes. Is it cool? Yes. Good waste of 3 minutes, probably.

technically with a good mouse / keyboard recorder yo could do it. but i dont see why bother. I mean PS art like that you see in old games are a lost art. By that just because not many do it much anymore doesnt mean there arent soem really gifted ones still out there =)
