Leave him locked up.

If the raiders are still alive you can free him from a distance by shooting the generator and watch the fun.

I'm in the Bazaar, milling right along.

Got "the gun" and continued around, killing the behemoth (from outside his pen), found Vault 102, the stuff that goes along with that...and now I'm on to Rivet City.

Weee...still at level 5!
