Sander, how can anyone who calls a press comference to tell the world about going on a "crusade into the Middle East, to fight the infidels" not be stupid?
Straw man, he never said that.
Actually, Sander, he did. That's not an exact quote, but pretty close. It was something like "i pledge to you, i will lead is in a crusade, we will go to the Middle East, we will go wherever terrorists may hide, and we will prevail!" It was right after 9/11, and I saw it in a live press conference. I remember it quite well, because if you happened to be watching the CBS coverage, their cameraman got a shot of to of his aides/secretaries/whatever standing behind him and to his right wincing when he used the word "crusade".

He is intelligent because he manages to do that what he wants to do: remain president.
Exactly how hard was that for him to do, considering his financial backing and his competition? Intelligence on his part doesn't even come in to his campaigning. He has speech writers who write out damn near everything he says, and he has people who design all of the ads you saw. It doesn't take intelligence to say "I'll pay a lot of money to the best in the business." All he did was hire the best political marketeers he could buy, and let them do their jobs.

And as for graduating from Yale, well... So he's got a degree; rectal thermometers have degrees,too, and you know what you do with them.
Gee, what a great argument. You have me there, Talisien.
Okay, I phrased it facetiously, but the point I was trying to make is that it doesn't matter where you go to school. A simple degree doesn't mean much anymore. Going to Yale, Harvard, or any other Ivy League school mostly just shows how much money you have. You can get the same knowledge and the same degree by going to your local community college. Yes, he had to pass tests to get that degree. So? An idiot with a photographic memory could do it. He's still an idiot. An idiot with good grades, but an idiot nonetheless.

And as for Chavez, I don't know about his actions before the whole "Bush is the Devil" thing, I've never really read much about him in the papers or seen him on TV.
Your point being what, exactly?
This was in reference to what you were saying about Chavez being an attention whore in his own country.

I'm also surprised that you find this whole super highway thing a feasible idea. There's a reason why there are small roads: people need to get to their houses which are not located directly on highways. If you build super highways so that you can get to every house almost directly from them, you'll end up with the same roads, but with more lanes.
I didn't say that "I" thought it was feasible. I don't. I just said it was out there. I think it would fail for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that the governments of most countries wouldn't stand for it.
@Briosafreak:
Actually, in talking to my little brother, I found he has a copy of what I'm referring to saved on his laptop. It's an article from some newspaper, where an intern leaked a copy of his notes to a reporter. The idea wasn't actually put into the text of Agenda 21, or in to (attempted) practice, so I guess you, Sander, and I were all arguing a moot point on that. Sorry. I was wrong, and I admit it. Flame away, if you must...
