these screenshots are from the intro of fallout 1 & 2, originally black and white, so I colored them, no reason, just wanna do it
do you like it ? 8)

Wow, those are really nice! If i hadn't seen that intro before, i would assume those were simply screenshots from the game. It sure is nice to see that you have such a broad range of abilities, Phomax.

Wow! This is amazing!

I've seen lots of different fanwork, but I've never seen someone take a black-and-white frame and color it. In fact the coloring is perfect. Had the F2 intro been in color I would think it were exactly like that.

Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

It did took me some times for the capture, coloring is much more ... comfortable ...
to capture those frames is simply troublesome, I had to use a third party software to run fallout in windows mode, otherwise the "print screen" button were not goint to work ( any other solution? ), and then I had to be careful avoiding missing the frame I neeeded or I ought to watch the intro again ... ah ... again and again ... and again ...

Awesome work yet again...

This stuff is great, and it's such a privilege to be amongst the best fan artists around.

Well done!

you could've used FRAPS, but unless you buy it or crack it, i think there is some "trial version" string attached to the screenshots.

there are a bunch of similar programs.

The only string attached to unregistered FRAPS is that the screenshots get saved uncompressed as windows bitmap, which is fine with me because it's the least processor-intensive lossless format, and therefore it doesn't cause slowdown while taking screnshots.

I'd tried fraps, but it failed too——whole black, no picture, hmmm…… :?
