I need a god mode cheat for Planescape Torment

And if you disagree with me, then explain how the **** you killed Trias???!!!

Second time through I took advantage of the bug where he casts all his spells while he's still neutral and thus doesn't damage your party. I can't help it if he's a bit thick.

Can't remember that I had any particular troubles with him the first time when I beat him (I assume) fairly.

Admittedly BG2 can be bothersome if you don't want to delve into the world of vulnerabilities and countermeasures.

But in the mean time, I suppose I should ask: are there similar cheats for Baldur's Gate 2?

BG2 has a cheat console. You can activate the ability to kill any creature by positioning the cursor over it and pressing Ctrl-K or some such. You can find the details in any worthwhile walkthrough (i.e. Dan Simpson's).

finally, somebody has given me what I was looking for this whole time.

Unfortunately, it came a bit late. The game is uninstalled and the disc is broken into multiple pieces in the waste basket.

But in the mean time, I suppose I should ask: are there similar cheats for Baldur's Gate 2?

Just break the discs.

Go play minesweeper.

So it took a grand total of what, 17 hours and 40 minutes from asking for a cheat that can easily be found using google to breaking CDs?

I had a hard time at the end of Torment, think I had to give Trias two tries. Probably because I managed to miss a lot and the best spells my wizard nameless one had were level 6 or 7 I think. In the harder fights he just got countered all the time, but with high charisma, wisdom and intelligence I got through it in the end anyway. I found that pausing the game every time someone has completed their action made my fighting a lot more efficient. Playing in real time with companions was a nightmare...

As for Trias, iirc I cast all my area spells on him before sending in the fighters, which I had already cast the zerthimon stuff and strength spells on, and kept casting stuff like chromatic orb and ax of torment on him with the casters. Maybe I got lucky and landed a stun on him, I don't remember.

.

I already DID try to search for such cheats using google. Jesus ****ing christ, don't ever criticize someone for not using google unless you've actually done a google search yourself (planescape torment + cheats) and found what I was looking for. I found at least a dozen different web pages that listed "cheats" that were really just bugs/exploits that work in the players favor. No god mode or instakill mentioned.

Maybe if I typed "planescape torment + hacks" I would have found it. But whatever.

Hah, well, i somehow doubt there are aimbots and wallhacks available for PS:T.

And man, i'd hate to see you give a shot at beating Baldur's Gate 2 with Improved Anvil installed.

Or playing on a level higher than easy.

Indeed.

Why do i have this nagging feeling this is a troll thread? :?

And that this guy spent money on a game and then broke it apart without really trying like most of us here to actually get past the difficult part.

I personally take games I don't like to a used game place, so I can get something else.
