RE: I don't know TOO much about IPs

after reading the whole message all i got to say is, take a nap. you guys are taking all this crap way, way, wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too seriously. "he double crossed the mod squad" oh my god its a new holocaust on our hands. maybe you need to crawl out of your bunkers and do something with your lives instead of worryign about some idiot that didnt do work. ive been in many a band where there was a drummer a bassist so on and so forth that would do shit and we kicked them out and we got on with our lives, instead of plotting against them. hell if he called us we would ignore him. "hes a spammer!", oh boo hoo, and there is a starving child somewhere in somolia. get on with your moding and leave the chap alone.

and im serious about you taking a nap.

Did the aformentioned drummer or bassist, etc. go back and start spamming you or deliberately start causing trouble?

I think they would, if that "chap" would leave *them* alone. Thus needing to know what the IP returns so a possible contact to the person's ISP. Same thing we do here when someone acts like a total twit, but we used to put an email to the person's ISP if we had to put them into the .htaccess files. I don't know if we still do, but it's a common proactice wherever you go.
