I need help with keys

modern Acers usually use 2 to 4 screws in the back to secure the keyboard.

of course, you can do it yourself (if you have a long & fine screwdriver). however, you'll void your warranty.

The thing is since I spilled water on it, according to Ratty in a previous post it might have short-cuircited the keyboard, which I find difficult to believe. Still, doesn't that mean the problem could be deeper than that?

Thanks for the tips though, I'll get back to you.

of course the problem could go deeper than just the keyboard if the liquid got down further into the laptop. there is no real way to know except unscrewing the thing & even then it's not sure it's possible to view with the naked eye.

but to reassure you, all Acer laptop keyboards i've seen are sealed pretty well so fluid shouldnt be able to flow further into the laptop.
