i need NEW rpg ...must have more..

uh and another quite fun game is Grandia 2.... i think you can get it for about 5$ or so, and there are tons of hours of gameplay.. sure worth a look... if you can handle the japanese style graphics

I know the feeling. I think we RPG'ers are a dying race. Nowadays all the games are for consoles, and the few rpgs that is released for pc usually suck!

It took me over a year to get me hands on Arcanum, and halfway through the game I was a top-level mofo, and it was just so plainly boring. besides it's filled with bugs.
However, if you are extremely bored, you could try it.

Another game I waited with anticipation was Lionheart... I wouldn't recommend this one. It is a brainless hack n' slash, and all you have to do all the time is run around with a sword and hit ugly creatures. Then, once in a while, it turns mindboggling defficult (with the character i composited anyway). One thing though; you will never reach top level.

I also went on and played Neverwinter Nights. I found that rather dissapointing actually. Top level reched at the beginning of act 2 (of 4), and no real challanges, not even "the bosses". It's a good game if you have a few days you need to waste, but not worth 450 kr (=70$) it cost me.

On the whole morrowind <-> Gothic debate:
Morrowind kills time. It's not a great game, but it's ok. It's not very actionpacked, and I found it very annoing that if you want any challange, you have to keep putting restraints on yourself: "No, I won't do any training! No, I'll just keep this shitty equipment I have. Maybe now, I can get into an interesting fight?.-.. guess not!"

Gothic II was a bit better. Better graphics, better gameplay, nicely balanced. It was, however, not nearly a big, and not as free as Morrowind (where you were almost as free as in fallout).

About the opcoming rpgs, it's true; the market is dying. But then we have tthese great fallout fans making tons of mods for the fallouts and other rpgs; Yurop, FmF, IanOut, Fallout NWN, Dead Cities, etc, etc.
and then there are a few games waiting for: Metalheart: RR, The Fall, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Trinity, and some others.

A game I would recomend is Freelancer. I don't know if you tried it. It's not really an RPG in the same way as fallout, but I liked it. It's actually more of a flightsimulator, very much like Freespace (except that I hated Freespace, and loved Freelancer), where you are free to do almost anything; Join bad guys, good guys, bounty hunters, or a mining camp. you can fly a frighter or a fighter. you can do mainquests, freelance, or just cruise around in space...
try it, if you want.
