Isn't that what the game is about if you're playing the male character anyways? You're playing it the way Bethesda wanted you to play it...

there is plenty of choice for roleplay, for instance I played 30 something war veteran looking for his son with glasses, and then with a hat.

Also we can't forget how we can roleplay a normal say yes to everything or being a sarcastic say yes to everything, so we can also roleplay with dialogue, that is genius Bethesda .

They should've went further and made flavor text, like:
- Yes man/woman choice = Green
- SARCASTIC dialogue = Blue
- HATE [Insert what you hate] dialogue = Red
- Neutral dialogue = Yellow

They could add to the complexity of the dialogue wheel and dialogue. Then IGN and other paid under the table critics could say "10/10 innovative flavor text, we can now choose what color we want for our yes response".
