Well here in the state o Wyoming the legal age is 16.
The thing is though still over the internet is still technically "illegal".

In Australia anything less than 16 is illegal, but I've seen a few cases on current affairs shows, where an underage girl was living with a 30 or 40 year old man and nothing was done about it.

In one case guardianship was awarded to the man, because the girl refused to live with her parents.
 
Age of consent is such an interesting topic. In Panama it's 18 but I have met several 14 year olds that are more developed than the ladies I graduated school with. Delicious vixens too. Yip. Even intent means liability in the states, not whether or not she's actually underage. It's actually a fairly common method of baiting pedophiles that their secret services use.

Hell, I can remember a minor riot a few years back when a Dutchie was baited to the States that way and arrested. His arrest was not legal by Dutch standards, so our government demanded repatriation. Can't remember how it ended.
