To be honest, he was kinda right (minus the insults) - was a bit too much calling that thing "shit", it's just that the discussion evolved from the original post and the OPs attempts to re-rail it were a bit clumsy.
 
If I went onto a classic car forum and posted a topic of my souped up ford pinto, and the topic evolved into a general car mod thread, getting frustrated with the lack of attention and telling everyone to get back to discussing my pinto would be pretty stupid the first time, very stupid the second time.
