That's pretty funny cause that's pretty much exactly what my 15 year old cousin, who's into this show, said (minus the booze). And I get it.

If he's 15 then he isn't a 80's kid so I'm not really sure how much his opinion counts. That said, he is old enough to get (at least some of) the 90's cartoon jokes (plus Thundercats).

The show really lacks the consistency of Family Guy, The Simpsons, and Futurama, which is harder for me to forgive in a clip-show.

Consistency doesn't necessarily mean good. Case in point: Family Guy, The Simpsons...

Never liked Robot Chicken, nor anything really on Adult Swim.

^ Family Guy is actually good once in a while. Also, let me use South Park as a counter-point, because it's fairly consistent and almost always good ^_____^

AS had some good shows on. Like Harvey Birdman. I also watched it for anime hours back when they actually aired anything good.
