i'm kinda sad

Ugly John

So Old I'm Losing Radiation Signs
One of my Internet buddys on another site where i'm a regular www.qod.com died two weeks ago.
His wife posted a message yesterday anouncing us his death.

This is wierd, even tough i didn't know the guy more than calling him an internet buddy (we've exchanged e-mails a couple of times) i feel sad by his departure.

He was, like me a daily poster on that site, and two weeks ago he stopped posting, at first undetected, but then i was wondering why he wasn't posting anymore, and the yesterday came.
At first we tought it was a hoax, then a couple of us that knew his work e-mail tried it and got an autoresponse informing us of his death. He had a hearth attack, at 55, Christ he's younger than my dad.

just tought i'd share it with you guys

A few months ago a fellow from L.A. died on another community I frequent. Everyone was saddened by his passing since he was a prominent figure in the chatroom and DDR circles.

I barely knew the guy bu it was still dissapointing. Its easiest to forget that mortality can extend to people on the internet.

I said that sentence just a week ago, it´s quite true.

Sorry to hear that Ugly

Hmm...one of my msn buddies (whom I've never met) hasn't been on for almost three months. I'll have to email her. Sorry to hear that Ugly John.

Yes, I share the sentiments above. It's easy to forget that people on the internet are also mortal and we actually form friendships here that leave lasting impressions.

I am sympathize for you, UJ.

Sorry to hear it.
I know what you feel, i've been through a lot of the same, although more intense situations : my dad passed on when i was 6 (the only thing you get from cigarettes is death at 42), and last year a friend of mine was murdered in college. the police always said it was a suicide, though.

anyways, imo it's better to spill out that kind of stuff to friends and "internet buddies" than to keep it inside yourself, and the internet "relationships" may be sometimes deeper than some in real life, as one focuses mostly on what the other says, not on trivial everyday matters.

Yeah Wooz, it sucks to lose someone you actually know in person. Although, I haven't yet lost family, not looking forward to it, but I have lost one of my friends.

Ugly, just like I have your support through my troubles, you definitely have got mine as well.

Thanks guys, i went today to read on qod, and we're pretty much all in the same disbelief state. It's hard to believe that he's gone.

At least none of us had an argument with him before he departed.

Sorry to hear that, Ugly. It's always sad to lose a friend, even if it's one you never met.
