Input Device of the Future?

fred, input lag is why serial mouse was better than the dsub mouse and why usb is better than serial

dsub samples 30 times a sec
serial samples 60 times a sec
usb samples 120 times a sec

how many times a sec does this sample ?
 
oh, my bad, when i said dsub i meant PS2

so the little ps2 connectors the little round ones with the notch and such

dsub is actually a full/normal connector/bus without a polling interval ( sample rate )

You know, how is this any different from the touchpad I am using on my notebook? Of course, this might save space for notebook or laptops, but only if it allows better motion sensing and include some kind of voice command.
 
if they can make sure it has little to no input lag, and will work on even like a black non-reflective surface...


and they fix some of the unintuitive interface actions...

I'd love to ditch the mouse, because it's slowing destroying my tendons (tendinitis incoming?). But that little charmy thingy up there is not the answer, so I'll stick to the mouse and the antiinflammatory pomade.

I hardly ever use the touchpad of my laptop, I always connect a wired mouse.

In the future I will buy the next version of the Logitech MX mouse series I have been using for the last years.
 
If that pic was Rorschach Test, I'd say those things look like controlers of some sort.

If the doc asked me to say what they look like but not what they actually are, I'd say their shape look like shoes.

Never ever I'd think dildos, so I guess that, so far, the problem is with you :smug:
