Inside the Vault - Brian Bloomfield

The Bethesda Blog offers a really short Inside the Vault with QA project lead Brian Bloomfield. Questions about Fallout? Nevah!
What other games have you worked on?
I’ve worked on Oblivion, Fallout 3, Star Trek: Tactical Assault, Start Trek: Legacy, Star Trek: Conquest, Pirates of the Carribean: Legend of Jack Sparrow, AMF Pinbusters Wii, AMF Pinbusters DS, and Ducati DS.
Link: Inside the Vault - Brian Bloomfield.

EDIT: Notification: since Bethesda really doesn't take this Inside the Vault thing very seriously, with both questions and answers showing an embarrassing tendency to be painfully uninteresting, NMA will stop posting these every time they come up. We will post them whenever an interesting answer is given.

That ITV interview really was a waste of time. The only thing closer to an RPG in it was Fable 2.

PS: That's a really Next-Gen name! (Sorry, I had to said it).

Holy fucking hell. Isn't that poor guy only a pop-culture reference to Van Buren's Bloomfield Airbase?

Anyway, +1 to him.

Man, those are some pretty bad games which makes me question his skills at Quality Control.

Well I'll give him props for liking MvC2. Great fighting game.

Other then that....wastes bandwith.

Worst job you’ve ever had?
Pretzel maker at Auntie Anne’s…yeah, it’s as glorious as it sounds. And more.

Brian. If you're reading this, I want to let you know that I love you from the depths of my heart, man.

...

Because those pretzels are the shiznite!

he can't be that important if hes still using a CRT screen
Thought game companies would have decent gear

For yer information, some Eizo CRT monitors (T965) are far superior than a lot of LCD garbage in today's market.

My thoughts exactly. Star Trek: Legacy, for example, is among the worst Star Trek games ever to be released :(
Then again, it could be that he's decent at Quality Control, but that the devs just don't listen very well...

i knew a guy who used to do QA for EA in the early 2000s and he said they would report bugs by the crapload and ea would release the game anyway

Noted

edit: Altough that thing looks like a standard DELL

I can't even imagine how Bethesda games play before doing the quality assurance tests...

Thats what really bugs me when people defend Bethesda game quality, with the fiasco that was Oblivion, with the game looking like one thing at PR events and released as a whole other monster (the radiant AI).
I mean if they screw this up before and lied to the public, and got away with it, whats stoping them from doing it again.
The whole concept of defending corporations is very stupid to me anyway, they are in this for the money, and if we don't demand some quality from them (instead some people praise their mediocrity), nobody else will.

I assume no one minds?

Or maybe link to them as a sidenote whenever an actual interesting newsbit appears at the Bethblog?

Sure, if it's appropriate.

But seriously, is an ITV like this one even worth that effort? The guy interviewed barely cares enough to give answers, so why should we care enough to post? Simple 'nough

Not really. Ever since Bethesda removed the question about whether or not the interviewee played the old Fallouts, I don't really give two shits.

Those pretzels are still delicious, however.

EDIT:
Interviewee + Bethesda = they
