Inside the Vault - Brian Robb

Well, he made Morrowind Enhanced, that's a plus.
But he made Oblivion's save system? I should declare Jihad on him just for that. Rarely have I seen a more unstable saving system than that.
There's even been a special program made for it so that it makes an auto-backup of every save you make to alleviate the inevitable crash-on-save oops that quicksave you used for the past 4 hours is corrupt!
But I digress..

11. Have you played the VanBuren Alpha? If so, what were your feelings on it?

Haven’t played it. I’m not sure if any of the Van Buren devs have stated their feelings on the matter, but I know that I would feel a bit uncomfortable about the general public playing my unfinished work.

I suppose that's true if that unfinished work ever had a chance of seeing the light of day, but with Van Buren that's not an issue. As far as I know it's devs are happy with us messing around with it, aren't they?

The guy actually gives a few positive responses there. The freedom of choice and open-endedness sounds good, it's just a pity he's not a little higher up the food chain in developing the game (that may or may not be true - i know nothing about game design).

Guess what : a lot of people actually play Oblivion...

Oh, Zing!

It's pretty cool that he earned a job through modding, though. I'm still sticking with the college route, that way I can get my shiny piece of paper(Degree) saying I took a bunch of unrelated general education classes. We'll see if he can help out the AI any, but I have my doubts that Bethesda can do much besides make things shiny and destroy franchises.

God I hate EA for putting ads in games. And Ubisoft with their giant Axe bilboards.

Hopefully no corporations survived the apocalypse and made it into FO3...
