Install error

think this is the right forum, Ive managed to install and complete fallout 1 no snages or problems, when i come to F2 it installs, fine up to a point then decides its finished even though theres still a section of the bar still empty, then when i go to run the game itself its says i reguire the CD, which is in the drive and berfore anyone asks is legit and an original. Ive read the guide about installing manually under Xp but to no avail, it fails when i try to copy over the critters.dat file. any help?

Then your CD is damaged, I had the same problem.

Yes, i also had a problem similar to this one. I think i reformatted, and then it worked again. I sugest buying a newer CD/DVD drive aswell.
